Technical:

  • Designing and developing solutions for CMS (Center for Medicare and Medical Services) infrastructure using the Scala frameworks.
  • Working on Scala for developing, enhancing, re‐engineering, and maintaining applications.
  • Hands on experience on monitoring SPLUNK logs for the API calls; writing the SPLUNK queries to retrieve the specific HTTP requests / logger messages for webservice calls.
  • Knowledge on reading and writing some basic Xqueries to retrieve the insurance application and to insert the application for testing purposes.
  • Experience working with connecting to the client servers using virtual machine and working on the development and testing it.
  • Understanding the business rules using the Companion Guide and Visios for the development flow.
  • Experience on developing the simulation module to add test cases to the code base and running complete regression for any development change.
  • Assisting the testing team with questions on regression module or changes to the ticket for test scenarios. Experience working with the Agile methodology and actively attended the day‐to‐day scrum calls and story pointing meetings and pointed for the scope of the tickets.
  • Working on writing the Specs for the Scala changes to validate the outcome. Assisting the team as needed with VM set up and debugging the VM issues.
  • Hands on experience working with POSTMAN for end‐to‐end testing for API calls like create an application/update an application/submit an application/get an application/override/Change in Circumstance.
  • Effectively working on maintaining and fixing the mapping issues between the legacy system and Standalone Eligibility Services (SES).

Required:

MS Electrical Engineering, related field, or equivalent. Minimum 2 years experience as a Java Developer. Experience should include working on automating applications, reviewing business requirement document and technical specification document, create test plans, J2EE design patterns such as MVC, DAO, and DI/IOC, Business Delegate, Singleton, Database Schema, Writing SQL queries, Spring, REST/SOAP, XML, Ant, IDE, Websphere Application Server, PL/SQL, Oracle 11g, Oracle DBA. M‐F, 40hrs/wk
